Jihad Wedding
Introduction:
Kareem and I met many years ago, we grew up playing soccer together on the little Chaps club team. (We won a State Championship) We spent many birthdays and hot steamy nights together ;). I knew both of his parents, both very different but I respect and love both of them as they have done the same to me. Kareem has two younger brothers, both look up to Kareem as role model and as big brother. As high school approached Kareem and I began to drift apart a bit, and then in College he never even called or wrote to me, but I have since forgiven my Hajarrrnnno. I met back up with Kareem at Austin's Fight Night, a gathering of real estate moguls, and wanna be real estate moguls. You must know that Kareem was a bit skinny in middle school. But when I saw him at fight night, he was to say it bluntly FAT. A drink in one hand, talking and waving around his other hand. Best friends again at that moment. We hadn't seen each other in years but were already buds again! (He has since lost a few lbs.)
Those that know Kareem and I you can always find us fighting and degrading each other. That's probably why we are such good friends, because we can do that to each other and not feel a ounce of anger. Or sometimes you can find us on the courts at The Hills fitness center playing our new favorite past time, basketball. I am usually on the winning side, because of my speed and athleticism, and Kareem's sight over weight problem, I am able to drive to the hoop at my pleasure.
Kareem has been the host of many great parties at his house. All of which can be viewed here on this website. Always a gracious host, though sometimes a cheap bastard like the time he used my credit card to buy all the pizza for his St. Paddy's day party. (Consider that your wedding present.)
I'm very happy that Kareem found Ms. Melissa, somebody that won't take his crap all the time. Melissa is also always a great hostess, and a vivid Baylor Bear football fan. I know that she was very spirited when my Aggies beat those bears this past season!!! (Gig em!!).
So I'm done writing all this mushy stuff, I may decide to write more later, time to get my photojournalism skills back in shape as this week will test those skills to the max. ;)
The Jihad wedding events begin Thursday, so start checking back here towards the weekend some time for new updates on our favorite terrorists wedding.
Also thank you Melissa and Kareem for choosing me as a groomsman, I'll try not to blurt out any inappropriate words/phrases during the ceremony.
Ok check out the WED Blog to read about the wedding. Basically it was a booze fest starting Thurs afternoon and running till Sunday. I ripped it and only threw up once on Kareem's couch Sunday night.
